hardest thing to learn during recovery is….. some of your misery is your own fault. you have to actively choose to stop wallowing in your own pain & start to recover. that means stop being self deprecating, start taking care of yourself, start eating healthy, start taking your hygiene seriously, even if it’s hard. & it is hard! but you must.
My name is Reb. I am 18 years old. My brother is turning 5 in February 2019. He has cancer. He was diagnosed with leukemia on August 2016. He is the sweetest boy you’ll ever see. He is such a strong fighter. He almost always had a smile whenever he was in the hospital for treatment. My mother has to drive out of the city an hour and a half one way to get him to the children’s hospital in Birmingham, Al. She is a single mother with 7 kids including me. My 4 younger siblings live with her currently. She works as a hostess at Cracker Barrel. She barely gets $100 a week. I have been trying to find a job to support her. Please donate or reblog to help cover hospital bills, gas, food, cost of living. I know you see a lot of these posts, but please even if it is $1. We need money form him, my kitten, the house. Hi. I’ve made a few donation posts in the past but this one is different… I moved in with someone from craigslist on the 3rd of Jan and it has taken one week for him to scream at half a dozen people including the cable guys and myself. He threw an angry, threatening temper tantrum this morning at 3am because the sound of me vomiting (for about 1 minute no less) woke him up. He threatened to kick my ass and to kick me out on the street right then, and threatened to go get my money.
Except he doesn’t have my money anymore. I asked him how much of the rent money he’d be giving me when I left shortly and he said “im not giving you anything motherfucker”. He now expects me to leave on feb 3rd (which is my goddamn birthday) and put up with his bullshit until then.
Now here’s the real kicker: He’s sexually harassed me. He sent me a fucking dick pic and wanted me to come in and look at it in person. Now he’s calling me a queer and a faggot.
Needless to say this is a really terrible and unsafe situation. I gave him 500$ to stay here for the month and he won’t give it back, essentially not letting me leave.
